"Hotel was clear, staff was friendly, pool was maintained well. I definitely would recommend a stay there. Plenty of local restaurants locally also."

"I booked this hotel on Expedia as a 19 year old. I arrived in town for a concert around 1 pm after traveling 4 hours from home and was told I couldn’t check in due to my age. I was told if I came back with someone over the age of 21 they would allow me to check in. I came back after the concert with a friend who was also in town and was staying at the Hyatt in West Palm Beach. The hotel denied letting the person check in on my behalf. Thank goodness I had a friend in town and could stay at their hotel or I would have been sleeping in my car. The hotel would not make any accommodations and they refused to refund my reservation. I’ve tried to speak with the manager, with Best Western, and with Expedia. Lesson learned to stay away from this chain and Expedia for reservations in the future. There are no safeguards in place to keep these kind of mistakes from happening. "

"Upon check in I noticed an odor in the office, this was my first bad sign. All of the front desk people were great. Then I got my room and it was disgusting. Filth EVERYWHERE! I had to immediately go back and request a room that was clean. My "new room " had just been cleaned but it was also disgusting. Despite being freshly mopped, there was a brown film on all of the floors. The tub was nasty, the walls had smears and spots, the fridge was filthy, i refused to bring food there, there were no plates or silverware etc... Everything was a disappointment. Finally despite a late chech out, the house keeper was banging on my door at 11 am sharp telling its time to check out."

"I booked a stay at Club Wyndham Resorts through Expedia during our vacation, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. We had actually booked this stay about three months in advance expecting a smooth and relaxing vacation. The room we received looked significantly different from the photos and description shown on the Expedia listing. The condition and overall appearance did not match what was advertised, which was frustrating after a long day of travel. When we saw that the room did not match the listing, we informed the front desk immediately and requested cancellation. Expedia said they couldn’t process it because they couldn’t reach the hotel. Since we couldn’t stay there, we had to quickly book another hotel at a much higher price, which was very frustrating after planning this trip months in advance. Another uncomfortable part of the experience was the aggressive push to attend the Wyndham Vacation Club sales presentation. Even after we explained that we only had one day to spend in Miami and wanted to spend that time with our family, the staff continued encouraging us to attend the session. We arrived around 9 PM after a long drive with tired and hungry kids, but instead of a quick check-in, we had to deal with repeated sales pitches."
