The room cleaned everyday and was spacious. Wish the bed was a little bigger. Alberto the manager was AMAZING, he went above and beyond to make us comfortable and take care of transportation to and from the beach. Unfortunately anytime you want to go off property you had to take a taxi and they were very expensive, like $45 for a 15 min drive! But that is not the resorts fault just something to be aware about the island. Also eating out anywhere usually cost at least $120 for me and my partner. Overall had a great stay!

I was fairly disappointed with my stay at one on marlin. It started with the resort not sending the complementary shuttle to pick us up at the airport. It says there is complementary shuttle to and from the airport which was a lie. Then upon arrival the resort, the villa is half built. There is no pool or bar of any kind. 0 amenities. The gentleman Alberto said it “wasn’t built yet” he said we could walk 1/2 mile to the sister resort to use there pool. He also stated the beach shuttle only runs 9a-5p. We walked the 1/2 mile to the sister resort and found a slimy pool and a non functioning hot tub. Safe to say we didn’t use it the entire trip. The location of the resort is also incredibly miss leading due to pictures of a beach. They have a beach section with umbrellas but it’s over a mile and a half walk. The resort itself that was finished was fairly nice and quiet, clean. We ended up renting a car for 3 of the 5 days which was the only way to get around from the resort which is quite frankly in no man’s land. Upon leaving the resort Alberto said he would take care of the ride to the airport as in the posting it says complementary ride to and from the airport. He’s called a taxi and didn’t pay for it so I was charged for taxi fair to the airport that was supposed to be taken care of by the resort. Quite unprofessional. Overall I would rate it 4/10 and I’d rather spend my money on a resort that actually has amenities on site and honors the airport shuttle it offers.

This was a great secluded area (which is the sister hotel to the "Kokomo Botanical Resort") it's everything you need in kitchen, bedroom, and bath, the service from the staff was top tier, and it wasn't far from the from everything you'd need as far as booked activities, grocery stores, and shopping, along with restaurants, the "One on Marlin" is definitely a hidden gem.

The staff especially Suzanne offers an excellent warming welcome. The place is clean . Just be aware that the hotel is 5min drive to the beach . However, the hotel offers drop off and pick up from the beach . The kitchen is equipped with basic cooking tools.

Can’t say enough good things about the property and the staff. Total relaxation and peace from the time you set foot! Please note that the property is not on the water, and there is no pool directly on the property. You can go to the pool for free at Kokomo via a shuttle service, and also get to the beach also for free via the shuttle.That is the only downfall of the resort. Otherwise, though, I can’t say enough good things about the property and staff. Suzanna and Mimi, thank you for being so amazing, kind, and quick with communications and helping us out during our stay. Truly great service!

This lovely little resort is by no means luxurious. But it’s clean and super quiet with a relaxing vibe. Beds are comfortable, the terrace was nice and private. We barely saw anyone and when we did it was one of the workers waving hello and greeting us. They could use another chair on the terrace (which they brought to us). Kitchen had no bowls or plates and the coffee machine looked old, so that was the only thing I missed - making a nice cup of coffee. It would have been great if they provided some coffee and creamers too but we just got coffee elsewhere. The hotel's free shuttle service to the beach felt private. I would text the driver and he would be there within minutes, if he wasn’t waiting for us already. Suzanne was super friendly and helpful! She checked in on us and even arranged our snorkeling tour. She literally was like a private concierge. The hotel’s “beach club” (lounge chairs with umbrellas, small tables next to chairs and a friendly attendant sitting next to a water cooler) that the 4 minute shuttle ride brings you to is right next to Wymara where we ate our meals. Do not bother going to the restaurant at the sister resort, Kokomo, the service is lacking (they took forever to approach us when there was one other table there) and the food was pricey for what you got, which was barely edible. We would stay at One on Marlin again, making our vacation very affordable while still enjoying the expensive meals.

Suzanna is the heart and soul of the property making sure you are taken care of, have rides, rental car, things to do. Before we even arrived I had an emergency situation resulting in a reschedule. Suzanne and Winnie were able to assist so that we did not have to cancel our trip. They are angels! All staff are excellent, friendly, and very helpful. Our room was cleaned to perfection daily. The transport to the Kokomo and beach is great and really allows you to relax. There is someone at the beach to help and watch your personal items if you want to go to the restaurants or walk the beach. They have all the kitchen essentials, coffee, tea, and a handy cooler to bring drinks and snacks to the beach. Their beach location is perfect. We enjoyed the quiet location and ability to walk to Bobs bar, Land & Sea, etc. taxis were available at night to bring us back. We definitely recommend and will return!

Stayed 2/2026. Suzanna and the staff was wonderful, friendly and attentive. Room was clean, private and has all the amenities needed. A few suggestions for other guest; go grocery shopping your 1st night there, rent their cars (cheaper and more convenient than taxis), use their sister facility Kokomo for the pool and restaurant. This is a great secluded hideaway. I will be back before the end of 2026.
