“Villa is large and broken into several apartments. 3 with 1 bedroom, 1 with 2 bedrooms and 1 with 3 bedrooms. Main floor has 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It was a good layout for us since we had 15 people stay there. However, pool was not usuable until the last day due to "algae problem" and the main kitchen dishwasher wasnt functioning at all. Stairs to 2 apartments were very dark and difficult to navigate at night. Also 1 bathroom downstairs only provided cold water in the shower. Very rustic……

“This Villa has the following positive aspects:1. Great communicative owner before and during stay.2. Huge Villa with lots of common areas if people want to spread out.3. Staff making breakfast and daily cleaning was excellent4. Villa chef making dinners (xtra cost but reasonable) was wonderful easy way to have dinner with food that was good.5. A/C in bedrooms worked very well6. Good water pressure in showers unless multiple showers at one time.7. Very comfortable furniture.8. Wine……

“The house was great. Very clean. It had everything we needed and anything we didn’t have, the owners quickly sorted. The location is great with many little restaurants dotted around and only 30 minutes to Florence. Would love to stay there again if the pool was warmer. ”

“From arrival to departure (Sept 10-20, 2025) our stay at Villa Poggio was WONDERFUL! It's a very large villa that easily accommodated our adult group of 12. There were such spectacular views from every room and all around the grounds. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable as were the bathrooms. The kitchen and dining area worked well for us with two refrigerators being perfect for a large group. We did prepare many of our own meals. “Des vacances de qualité partagées en famille et entre amis, au calme, en pleine nature.La maison, ses équipements ainsi que la piscine sont très agréables.Il est bien de prévoir de faire des courses avant de s'engager dans la colline. La dernière partie de l'accès à la maison s'effectue par un chemin de terre.Barbara nous a accueilli chaleureusement, elle est disponible et partage de nombreuses informations sur les activités à réaliser.La journée à Florence que l'on peut rejoindre en train……

“The villa was great. We had a large group gathering with three families and the setup was ideal with three wings each with its own stairwell. The house is massive, unique and enormous. The basement spa and pool were terrific. The host Giulia was extremely nice and responsive. Highly recommend!”
