"The place is a rental property rather than a hotel. The host Carla was very friendly and responsive. The view was amazing. However, the property could use some serious work. There were holes on the wall, stains on the couch, splashes on the kitchen window shades, mold or stains on bathroom ceiling. The bathroom sink doesn’t work. "I tried to put up with the mosquitos for 2 nights and just couldn’t deal with it. The room windows don’t close. Also the bathroom light doesn’t work between 6pm and 6 am for some reason. Finally on the negative side, the shower was room temp with no adjustment. On the plus side, the breakfast was very nice and the pool was as well."

"We paid months ahead as with many other accommodations, which we've never had any issues with. This place was hard to find so we called to clarify directions, and we were told if we didn't have a 4x4 that it wasn't possible to get to (which was NOT mentioned on the booking site on Expedia) We were left to scramble and find a place to stay last minute which was inconvenient and cost a lot more. We were also informed we would be given the money back but months later we still haven't seen it. "
