"Pleasantly surprised. This looks like a small motel, but is an apartment complex that rents out a few units. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedroom a separate from the kitchen dining room. Just a few blocks from the beach… and a great beach club. For a low budget trip, this place was just great. The staff did not speak any english but google translate helped to facilitate good communication. "

"The shower flooded day1, safe was unuseable, fridge froze our food, oven didn't work, sewer smell emitting from bathroom sink, no sheet change for 9 days, only 1 set of beach towels provided, room was very shabby and not updated. I have pictures. No secure place to leave our luggage while waiting for our taxi on our last day. My guest will be doing a review on Google and I will probably never use Expedia again without some explanation or compensation. We met other guests that were not happy...

"Excellent service from start to finish! Although the resort is a bit outdated, it is extremely well-maintained, clean, and has a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, helpful, and attentive, which truly made my stay special. The entertainment was also fantastic. The food exceeded my expectations. The Japanese restaurant was delicious, and the sushi was surprisingly good for an all-inclusive resort. I loved the food truck for quick bites, and being able to order food, including enchiladas, right at the Lazy River was such a nice touch. The french fries were excellent, and the room service was also impressive. The buffalo and barbecue chicken wings from room service were so good that I ordered them more than once! The drinks deserve their own shout-out. This is not your typical all-inclusive with bottom-shelf liquor. The resort has a martini bar, excellent espresso martinis, great dirty martinis, and cocktails that tasted like they were made with quality, medium- to top-shelf liquor. As someone who enjoys Baileys and appreciates a good drink, I was genuinely impressed. My only critiques are that the desserts were a bit underwhelming and the resort could use more maps or signage to help guests navigate the property. There are also quite a few local animals roaming around, including adorable coati-like creatures, but that’s simply part of the natural environment. Overall, I had an amazing and serene experience and would absolutely retur"

"The resort is very nice, our concierge Alex when the extra mile to help us!! The only disappointing experience were the extremely limited amount is staff to handle the Kids Club, if the kids were outside for activities, nobody stay at the club to receive any other child! I never found anyone at the club in order to register my son for any of the club’s activities!!"

"Beautiful resort! Kind and attentive staff, our butlers Ricardo and Alex were amazing and did their best to make our stay more memorable. Drinks were good and rooms were clean. Our only dislike was the swim up diamond club oceanfront pools. They need to be cleaned for sure. Debris at the bottom, bird droppings on the sides; and people are leaving their floaties behind. There was a deflated floaty in the bushes. While the room spotless, the swim out left much to be desired."

"I recently stayed at the Hideaway resort and had an overall positive experience. The location was perfect, close to the airport but secluded enough to not have noise, The room was clean, cool and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The check-in process was smooth and super easy and fully air conditioned. We sat in a lounge with a full bar, and the amenities met my expectations. The best part of the check in experience our group was assigned a Expedia ambassador which assisted us with any needs during our stay. I reached out to ours, Andy Garcia every day and he responded in a timely manner, was very efficient and polite. Every need was met and our satisfaction was followed up on by him. Andy made a true difference in our stay and experience with this trip. 10/10 for Andy! I would recommend this property to travelers looking for many dinning options and activities to do. Each restaurant provides gluten free options and takes care to ensure no cross contamination. Even though it was very hot and humid during our stay, the drinks were kept cold and the pools very clean and refreshing. The spa was amazing! Hydrotherapy was very relaxing and affordable. Ending with aromatherapy and scalp massage had us all ready for a nap."
