Viva Heavens is a small resort with a long walk to the beach. The buffet for breakfast and lunch and snacks are subpar to say the least however the restaurant food was really good. The resort is middle of the road budget friendly. You get what you pay for. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful.

I had a fantastic experience staying at this hotel. One of the standout highlights was the excellent local food offered—fresh, flavorful, and a true taste of the region. It made every meal something to look forward to. The staff was incredibly friendly and serviceable, always ready to help with a smile. From check-in to check-out, their hospitality made me feel genuinely welcome and well cared for. The location is also a big plus—conveniently situated and just a short walk to the beach, which made it easy to enjoy both the sea and nearby attractions. If you're looking for a comfortable place with authentic local cuisine, warm staff, and beachside access, this is a perfect choice. Highly recommend!

My family and I went on vacation to Viva Heavens and had an amazing time. The resort is smaller than the usual, but the food and entertainment were great. The staff were also very welcoming and helpful. I highly recommend if you’re looking for an affordable, relaxing, and calm vacation.

The only thing worthy was the stunning view of the beach, other than that everything else was not as expected. Many of the guest that were there were not polite and respectful, the pool was filthy and dirty not to mention that the filter stopped working and they never warned anyone about the situation. My family vacation was completely ruined and we asked for a refund the first night we were there but they gave us a run around it looks like they had an answer to everything we needed to say.

I never had a parking issues at any hotel that I’ve stayed before, but this place.. beware. This place has very limited parking space. I had to leave because the vehicle I was driving was a rental and I didnt want to run the risk of something happening to it. Long story short, after I checked in, the security guard had sent me to a nearby mall to park my car. Absolutely not. The hotel had then offered to resolve the problem but at that point there was nothing to resolve because the parking was full. I contacted expedia & the hotel and they both refused to refund me my money back. Stay away from this place.

We found the bed sheets with some stains and hair in the shower and bathroom. House keeping department was needed to be contacted! The hallways to the room was filtered was filtration! In the breakfast buffet was one cook employee who wasn't customer service friendly!

Evelyn the manager was great, but unfortunately food was horrible and most people didn’t care. I was expecting a very relaxing time and my wife almost had an asthma attack. Room very humid and the air condition was really bad. I was trying to get a refund and leave earlier but I knew the cancellation policies were not good for me and Evelyn changed our mind and got a different room and it was perfect for us. But the whole experience wasn’t good and it wasn’t cheap either for a family of 4. I can get a 5 star hotel in Punta Cana for the same price. The beach is another story. It is so beautiful and peaceful, that you don’t think you’re in that hotel. Playa Dorada is so beautiful and they should get that place back in the map. Definitely not coming back to this hotel and I don’t recommend it either.
