「Hotel has great potential, but is very poorly managed. This is a very expensive hotel and does not provide a service in line with what is charged. The beach is gourgeous, but full with plastic waste that comes from the sea. All neighboring hotels and restaurants clean their beaches, this one does not. Additionally, the hotel charges disproportionate prices on everything: transfer from Cancun airport is 3x more than what we paid, a meal is 2x more than any restaurant in the village, a tour to...

「Raccoons had access to your room from the rooftop since it was made out of tree palms leaves, no one cleaned room from previous stay as the sheets were dirty and dead bugs were within the linen. No refreshing of towels while staying there for 5 days. At night the raccoons were on the rooftop and broke a whole in the palm leaves. 」

「Staff were fantastic, beautiful stretch of beach front property and nice pool. Free parking was great. The music was loud some days but was done by a decent time at night so it didn’t bother us at all. Breakfast started at 8am, we thought it started at 7 so just to be aware of. I tried the free yoga one morning and really enjoyed it. Breakfast was delicious, there are a few options to chose from and all made fresh to order. Would recommend. 」

「We really loved La Zebra. The staff were amazing, restaurants very good too. Our room was comfortable, clean and well stocked with a view of the gulf. The pool was a disappointment being located on an upstairs level with few loungers, and sadly we were inundated with sargassum so swimming off the beach was disgusting. 」

「The property is gorgeous! The staff is friendly, helpful and accommodating. I did not tell them that we were celebrating a birthday as we checked out on my boyfriends birthday and they were still so kind as to decorate the room the day prior to check out! I would return and recommend the property to friends/family.」

「We booked an upgraded master suite with rooftoop pool. We were given a completely different room that wasn't even close to the room I booked thru Expedia. Then they shifted us to another room and even that was not tye room we booked. We were so frustrated by tuat time, we just stayed in a lower category room anyway. Management and admin is awful here!!!」

「Loved my stay however music was a bit too loud and seemed to be toward a younger crowd. I’m in my 50’s and looked like most people there were not there to party. Enjoyed food there but the music made the experience not as enjoyable. Also they have speakers near the pool which is loud if you wanted to nap in your room. They will turn it off at the pool if you ask.」

「Very disappointing stay I stayed at Casa Gitano after booking through Expedia. Our room had a serious bug problem with numerous insects inside. The bugs were everywhere on our clothes. The sink in our room was clogged, and staff had to come fix it. Shortly after, the hot water stopped working, and we were left having to use cold water. The pool was extremely dirty with sand and debris floating on the surface, and we were told it would take several days to clean, which they should have taken...
