"Our stay at Ginger and Cacao was nothing short of magical and has easily become one of the most favorite places I’ve ever stayed in Costa Rica — and I’ve spent quite a bit of time here.The ocean view with the cozy deck, extremely abundant wildlife, and the stunning, immaculately clean pool created a feeling of total serenity. The home and property were beautifully maintained, and every detail reflected care, intention, and love. The host and caregivers were truly top-notch — warm, attentive, and thoughtful. They respected our privacy while also being available for anything we needed. Throughout our stay, we felt completely safe and secure, which allowed us to truly unwind and be present in the enjoyment of our travel experience.The aesthetic, layout, and functionality of Ginger and Cacao are exceptional — it’s a work of art, equal parts luxurious and grounding. The location is perfect: just a five-minute walk to the beach, close to town yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful, private, and deeply connected to nature — a little slice of paradise that still feels untouched and authentic.I feel incredibly blessed and grateful to have stayed somewhere so special. "This hotel is stunning! The pool and restaurant area has an awesome view of the beach and ocean. It has several pools that allow for different crowds. I went with my wife and twin boys and shared a 2 queen room. Even though the beds are small (not queen for sure), all other details were positive. "

"Beautiful resort! Very friendly and helpful staff... Maria at the front desk, was especially polite and informative! With the gated property and multiple security officers on site, we felt 100% safe at all times. There was a sloth living in a tree on the beach right behind the property, and a kinkajou living in a tree by our balcony. We were able to see them on the daily... and the sounds of the various birds and howler monkeys were AMAZING!!! The pool area was beautiful, the dining area was very peaceful... and the food was wonderful. I can't say enough about this resort, and will definitely be returning!"
