“We stayed in the family apartment which was a bedroom downstairs, a bedroom upstairs, a bathroom with shower and we had a small corner kitchen that had everything you could need. “The wonderful Black Boy Inn was everything and more than I expected from a 500+ yr old. The bedroom and bathroom was spacious clean and modern, but with a feel of nostalgia in its furnishing. The food was generous and good honest home-style cooking. More than satisfactory I would recommend this Inn. The only issues was with the parking arrangement and the Wifi was not so reliable.”

“Room 4 toilet was a little smelly needs to sort it out apart from that everything was good.”

“Room was pristinely clean. Beds were comfortable. Nice en suite bathroom with good shower. Facilities to make a hot drink were replenished on request. Staff were friendly without being intrusive. Didn't eat supper in the restaurant because veggie options were limited. Breakfast was awesome. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to anyone wanting accommodation in the area. Very close to Penrhyn castle and Bangor centre.”

“Absolutely beautiful outside space, a well kept garden with superb views over the Menai Strait. Room was lovely, very clean and well maintained; the bed was comfortable and we had a great balcony (again, with views over the Strait). The shower was ok, just about warm enough. The staff were friendly and the service was very good (special mention to Nathan, whether first thing at breakfast or serving us at the bar, unfailingly polite and on the ball). We enjoyed our stay and look forward to……
