「Our room was so comfortable with an exterior door and sitting area. One of 10 rooms on the property it was a quiet location. Breakfast is delicious overlooking the river and valley. Small menu is available all day (til 5:00) and special dinner is served nightly at 7:30 from a very limited but delicious menu. Make reservations before 5 pm of the day you wish eat. 「Beautiful location/setting. Pool was nice at end of a long day. Staff were wonderful,we had an amazing evening enjoying a dinner and wine while taking in the view on our patio. Personal touch as only five guest rooms. Breakfast in morning was included and great way to start off the day」

「The Quinta da Moita is out of the way of the Douro Valley but well worth the detour. I stayed there 3 nights on a solo trip. The owners are fantastic, very sweet. The place is perfect for quiet respite, clean rooms, comfortable beds, great breakfast! I recommend to anyone for solo stay or couple gateaway! Their wines are great too! Just make sure to have food for dinner if you want to relax for the evening as everything is pretty far. But the drive is gorgeous and fun! 」

「Room and environs were beautiful! Staff (Daniel) very nice and helpful! I was a bit disappointed that some of the activities offered online were unavailable (bicycles). Restaurant and wine tasting experiences very disappointing tho not necessarily a reflection on the manor house itself. 」
