“Beautiful Quinta perched on a hill above the Douro River. Rooms were nice, and the breakfast and particularly dinner were excellent. We also did the wine tasting in the store.”

“An absolute delight. Beautiful, historic, modern, delicious, friendly, intimate, relaxing; I could go on. Breakfast great, wine fantastic, dinner convenient and fun, pool with an indescribably breathtaking view. We watched the cook bring the lettuce from the garden and the grapes are grown right there. “The hotel was lovely, the staff was so kind and the entire property smelled like orange blossoms from the trees next to the hotel. The provided breakfast buffet was so good and fresh and the staff also offered individual dishes as well as espressos! My only "complaint" would be that the location has very limited restaurants, like only 3 and 2 of them were closed on Mondays! Bring some snacks and you will love the hotel!”

“Rooms were good, nice pool and beautiful view. We ate in the restaurant 4 times and the food was okay but you almost had to beg for a second glass of wine , never was it offered or were you asked if you want more. I think wine should be plentiful in D’ouro valley!”
