“Very clean and comfortable room. The breakfast room is always open so one can get a coffee or pastry or fruit any time. Apin, the proprietor, is super friendly, helpful and available. The location was excellent - walkable to the train station. 15 minutes to the Colosseum. Maybe 20 minutes to Trevi. 50 minute walk to Vatican. There is a good restaurant next door and lots of other restaurants and shopping nearby, I was concerned that there was no "reception desk" but Apin provided……

“Our group of 9 adults (from USA) had a wonderful stay at Hotel Columbia over the Christmas holiday. From the moment I made our reservations last fall, the front desk staff was responsive and helpful in planning dinner reservations and offering all sorts of advice for first-time visitors. One we arrived, they were ready with a smile and a "buongiorno" or "buonasera" whenever we passed by the front desk. The hotel is conveniently located 5 minutes from the Rome Termini (trains, buses, etc)……
