"The property is expansive and the modular home on it was cozy. The price was great considering it was a last minute booking. My grandparents live there in Quitman, and we were able to have them over for supper because of all the amenities there."

"Good location by the lake. Room was clean and the owner was responsive when we had questions about the area. No cable TV (that we saw), so be prepared to bring entertainment for those quiet nights. Also, hot water was limited. Aside from those couple of items, we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again if we are back in Texas."

"This is the cutest little property, just a couple-minute walk from the lake. It’s pet-friendly with a fully fenced backyard, and the surrounding views and sounds of nature are plentiful. Watching the sunset over the lake was absolutely incredible—it made for a perfect getaway for a few days.Pro tip: Be sure to stock up on food and drinks before you arrive. The nearest grocery store and restaurants are a 20-minute drive away, and the few dining spots nearby close early (most by 3:00 PM)."
