"The breakfast was the worst breakfast I’ve ever had at a hotel. The room was very dirty, and the pool looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in at least a month. The room was extremely dark. You could hardly see anything in there, barely any lighting. And there was a huge homeless encampment all around the hotel. So as soon as you open your window, that’s all you can see. The staff was friendly. "

"Our first room was fine until we tried to shower but there wasn’t a faucet. We had to move to another room and that one didn’t have the same locking mechanisms for the front door so we were a little nervous. We noticed we were also connected to the room next to us through a door and that lock was also flimsy. We moved one of the side tables in front to block the entrance. You’re right along the highway and the area has a bit of “activity”. Lots of people coming in and out the area, kind of sketchy. We enjoyed the price but as women, we were a little scared."

"This is an historic hotel. Of you expect modern amenities like, you'll be disappointed. We enjoyed the historical pictures and ambiance. We were disappointed that the pool was being renovated, but we understood. Overall, it was comfortable, close to where.we wanted to be, and the price was right. I would visit here again."
