“For less than $100 per night, should I choose a stately Victorian apartment on Main Street in a historic downtown, or a rundown chain motel at some stop along I-75? The choice was a no-brainer for my scouting trip to plan a short getaway for my quilting group, most of whom would enjoy being in the middle of horse country. “We enjoyed our unplugged getaway. Cell phone reception is slightly available in the bed lofts, but barely. If I had to not pick, and we were happy with it, my only cons would be water pressure and clothes storage. We had a blast though, no dogs barking and no kids”

“We stayed here to attend a funeral in Richmond. It isn't disabled friendly, so it would have been nice to know that it was a second story apartment in the listing. Parking was on site, which was a big plus. The furniture is very soft, which is welcoming but also easy to get stuck in.
