“My wife and I recently stayed here as a quick weekend getaway for her birthday to unwind and go to a few wineries and breweries. From the very beginning of booking all the way to checking out, everything was absolutely perfect. Al and Nancy communicated everything thoroughly and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. They even provided local recommendations. The suite itself was just incredible. It was immaculately clean, modern, and had everything we needed and more. Al and Nancy……

“We thoroughly enoyed our stay at "The Whitehouse." Everything was as described. Very peaceful with a perfect location for visiting Washington without the hassle of traffic and parking issues; taking the excellenct advice of our host we drove to the Vienna metro station and had a peaceful ride into D.C. Our host was very accommodating and let us park our 18 foot cargo tailer on site for our trip duration, others wanted to charge us $50 per day to park it. Also, the homemade banana bread was……

Incredibly, almost all of the animals on their farm - cats, dogs, mini donkey, horses, and one of the alpacas - loved being petted. The location is beautiful, private, and peaceful. “It’s my second VRBO so I had tons of questions before and during and Monique was patient, communicative and quick to respond. As a mom of two littles I appreciated arriving to a clean place that had plenty of room for us to stretch out. “First we found it strange that you enter into this unit through the bathroom. It is up a laneway behind a house and backs onto a subdivision. The “kitchenette” was not very clean with some leftover packages of food in drawer from previous guests and no microwave. It was a warm day when we arrived and the heat was on full blast and was controlled from another unit. It continued to blast heat for our whole visit. We were to stay for 3 nights and the first night was fine as there were no guests in……

“Perfect location & great amenities”

“First, we couldn’t find it. Nothing in our check in process identified how/where to locate entry to our accommodations. Other guests in the house let us know that our entry was “in the back” of the old house converted into multiple rental units. Second, the warm welcoming decor of our studio unit was obliterated by the thin door separating our bed pillows from the game room with pool table on the other side of the non- sound proofed plywood. Normal sounds kept us awake into the wee hours of the……

“Super clean. Super easy check in & check out. Quiet and beautiful setting. The windows bring the outdoors in. Fabulous to watch the electric storm through those big beautiful windows from the comfort of the couch.”
