「Met some friends for a girls weekend and had an amazing time. We all loved the location and the amenities. We did not leave at all. Views of the lake are stunning. It was on a quiet section of the lake and there were no houses directly across. The screen in porch with rocking chairs were perfect for morning coffee. It was also awesome to have a table out there to eat and have space for activities. I also was able to see a blue heron catch a fish while sitting on the porch. The inside dining room...

「The room was spacious for the 2 of us and our dog. The bed was very comfortable and it was very quiet. Unfortunately, the heavy curtains did not cover the window, they were only decorative, and the parking lights were shinning into the room, making it hard for me to sleep. Also the cleaning products left a very sweet and nauseating smell in the room. Otherwise, I would stay there again. The location was good, we were able to park our vehicle with a trailer, and to walk to a restaruant.」

「Staff was very kind. Hotel is old, smelled, had moth balls, and dirty towels and sheets. If you are in the area and desperate this will work. I won’t recommended if you are sensitive to smell. 」

「In addition to the new construction of the house, the added amenities were a very nice touch, along with the provided necessities (paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, laundry detergent, etc.). The shampoo/conditioner/soap dispensers in the showers and provided sink soaps were a pleasant surprise. Overall, a very nice house with very nice furnishings! Would stay here again!」

「Perfect house for a group of 7 adults. Lots of comfy seating inside and out on the deck and dock. Well stocked with oil, spices, etc. Master bed was very comfortable. Other beds were OK. Dock area is small and not deep water. That didn't matter to us since we went in September. Wifi was very slow but we had 5 people trying to work so more our fault than the house. Overall, an excellent Lake Gaston rental. 」

「This is an amazing property. The home is beautiful and sits on a quiet cove just off the main lake. The amenities were plentiful, including a new outdoor pool that we thoroughly enjoyed, games, floats, water toys and a large dock that easily accommodated our boat. The location is perfect - near restaurants and grocery stores. The host, Jenn, could not have been better. She was wonderful to work with, and we would highly recommend this home!!」

「This property should be removed from Vrbo’s listings. As other reviews have stated, the rental is filthy, full of broken furniture/appliances, and has several unsafe areas. We spent the first day and a half of our stay, cleaning the place. It is clear that this property has not been inspected or maintained for cleanliness in a long time. This is not the result of one careless guest. This is complete neglect.The home has cobwebs, stuck on grease, dirt buildup, bugs, and mold in multiple areas....

「Great home, beautiful views! We had a wonderful family Thanksgiving. The house is stocked with activities, for all ages, the kitchen is perfect for cooking and well equipped! Matt and Maria are fantastic host!Highly recommended this home for family vacations! 」
