“Great weekend stay. Clean, spacious room. We could all spread out in our own space-really like how the room was setup. Nice fridge, sink area. Pool was a nice size-my only concern was the flooring held the water and no one came in to mop it up, as far as we could tell (the next morning when we used it there were still puddles). “It was a nice place overall, we booked a king size room but when they gave me they keys they didn't work. They then put me in a double queen room which honestly was probably better for the fact they only give you 3 pillows per bed even the kings so my wife and I actually got 3 a piece so that was nice. I loved the fact the rooms all have a old screen door and a bench outside of the room. The bathroom definitely could have used some improvements, my shower didn't have a shower rod it was in……

“MOUSE FECES on the bed! Absolutely DISGUSTING - anyone valuing their health / safety should stay FAR AWAY! Was one of the only places left on Expedia on Memorial Day weekend, not the best reviews, but I thought how bad could it be for a night after Busch Gardens? I should have turned and ran when I pulled in the parking lot and saw vagrants that appeared to be living in this motel doing drugs in clear view on the sidewalk. I realized this is a budget choice but the breakfast was pretty lacking, I only drank the coffee because the rest was basically just low quality white carbohydrates. The room was not super well maintained. There were issues with the room that were not in good working order. “First and last time crossing that threshold….2 absolutely shocking events take place within about an hour….we were in the room locked in with an extra kick stick barring the door. All of a sudden we can hear someone using a key card trying to get in our room…I yelled and you can hear them say something like why would they give us this room key…I called the front desk and they said they would look at the cameras and called me back….said there was an error made and apologized. “The facilites are extremely outdated and you are met with a cigarette smell upon entry into the facility. I saw a live roach on the floor I was booked for. the carpet in my room was torn, the shower needed caulking and there was mold on walls. the cigarette smell permeated into my room as well. I was just generally uncomfortable for a $300 2 night stay. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly and were the only upside to my stay.”
