We didn’t even go into this hotel because the area of town it is located in is not good. Right downtown next to a cannabis store with homeless people wandering around nearby. Even though it was too late to cancel we found a different hotel.

Staff member who checked us in was pleasant. Hotel is currently under renovation. It’s old, carpets are old, halls don’t smell great, bathroom floors weren’t clean, bed was ok. Worst thing - it is adjacent to a train track and I did NOT enjoy a train blowing its horn at 5:20 am outside my window!!

The hotel, although under much needed Reno’s was not clean. In a bad part of town, we were accosted several times by people outside hotel. Says there’s a security guard (no where to be found). Room smelled of dog urine. Not the room we booked. Promised military discount - not honoured.

We stayed here years ago when it was a Best Western. The hotel has definitely seen better days but the new owners are doing complete renovations. The bed was comfortable and the room very spacious. We had breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant, the food was good. We will stay again when we are back in Regina

The hotel room was clean and front reception staff friendly. The website does make the hotel look in better condition than it actually is. There is a lot of care that needs to take place to bring it up to “picture perfect” presentation. (The website states the reception area is under renovation; however there are other areas that need the same attention. Reception area is nice). The room was poolside and we were not informed that staff come around to lock the door from the outside once the pool has closed; this was unsettling thinking someone was trying to open the door after 10pm. The kids enjoyed the pool and the slide. (The hot tub leaves something to be desired (only 11” deep when seated.) the decor in the pool area is a nice change.

The property and the workers fixing up the hotel are very neat quiet and friendly! The staff at the desk is very friendly and prompted at what they need to do and very explanatory ! I had a double bed for two people last night than today suppose to move to queen but they gave me the same room for the same price of a queen very nice of them ! Good food, good pool, good water slide, room service knocked a bit too early in the morning and wouldn’t give enough time to answer before they entered. Renovations blocked off part of the property. Had to go in through the side entrance. Lots of kids and parties. Overall had fun here.

We had a great stay! The pool was definitely the highlight — our kids especially loved the waterslide. The rooms were very spacious, well-lit, and thoughtfully furnished with amenities like a computer desk and an ironing station. The onsite coin laundry was convenient, and being centrally located in town meant there were plenty of shops nearby. The only downside was feeling a bit uneasy due to some individuals frequently riding bikes through the parking lot.
