Hex Wildlife Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"The Hex Hotel is a Basic hotel on the luxury side. What I mean is there are no frills but it is a great place to stay particular when visiting the Yorkshire Wildlife park. It makes the stay very pleasant being able to relax after your visit or before your visit to the park. Two nights is ideal visiting the YWP in the middle. If you are a YWP member you can visit for a short while on all days. I really like the hotel and always stay here when travelling to the YWP. It is clean and spacious with friendly staff. The breakfast is wonderful with everything you could want, The eggs this time were a little like bullets but it may have been just my timing I guess not everyone likes a runny egg. Air conditioning in the rooms is a plus when hot such as at the current time."

"Fantastic in every way from booking to check out . Staff at the Hotel worked tirelessly to ensure we had a great stay . A big Thank you to Will and Alicea on reception. The Hotel also arranged parking at the nearby Q park over our weekend stay . The hotel is in a great central location near the Peace Gardens and Gallery and Town Hall and lots of eateries . Our room was perfect with lovely view , super shower and comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices and coffee on the balcony afterwards. What an amazing weekend with perfect weather for the good festival too. Thanks again to Radisson staff who made it happen."

"We paid a premium price for a very standard room. Double bed with hard pillows. Very dated in the decor and furnishings. I was disappointed with the whole experience. Set menu for the evening was very pricy and was underwhelming. Breakfast was what saved the day, nice ingredients, great selection. Staff were friendly."

"Fabulous hotel the decor is amazing lovely bar area and restaurant etc bit disappointed by the so called private secure car park wall fallen down no barrier etc our room was large very nicely decorated but no air con was extremely hot and stuffy and room was above the kitchen extractor fans incredibly noisy and smelly don't want to really smell boiling vegetables at 8 am!!!? Or 11 pm for that matter did get us a gan to try and help but didn't really make a lot of difference a different quieter room and air con it would be a 5 star hotel excellent location"

"The wedding was fantastic. The staff was very helpful. The only grippe we had was the room which was clean but we had a tap that didn’t work and also the Air-conditioning did not work and when opening the window we got woken up at 5 am setting out chairs for the next wedding Would I stay again yes but will ask for a different room and make sure that I have air-conditioning-working."
