"I did not get my check in instructions ahead of time and was locked out on the first night. I had to pay 244 euros for a hotel. Neither summer day nor Expedia would refund me. Fraud as they blamed each other. The internet did not work in my room and the person who responded could only say “good luck”. Horrible place to stay. Would not recommend either summer day or Expedia. "

"Excellent hotel! Will definitely stay here again. Staff was wonderful and very helpful. They readily answered all of our questions and provided great recommendations. Food at the restaurants was great. "
"Internet was fast, hotel room was chilly, there was no instruction on turning on the lights so I had to ask the front desk who told me I needed to put my hotel room card into the slot for them to work, there were no instructions for the towel warmer, the room service lacked entirely and only had wings when it should have had a full menu like the restaurant downstairs, change the menu for the Hekla restaurant for lunch and dinner so it’s not always the same food, and most importantly, fully cook the bacon because almost every day is was undercooked and most people didn’t eat it"
"Our stay was great! The front desk was extremely knowledgeable about the city, the location was beautiful (right outside of downtown, about a mile walk), and the Icelandic breakfast was incredible. I will be thinking about the skyr and pecan pastries."
"I have stayed at this place a couple times it is an excellent hotel, really close to a lot of things and easy to get on the highway to take you around away from the area would highly recommend this place!!"
ICELAND SJF Villa , Hot tub & Outdoor Sauna Amazing Mountains View - 15 min to downtown
10/10 Excellent
"Absolutely great. The pictures don’t do the property justice. Very spacious, spotless clean, totally fell in love with the floors. The sauna and tub were spectacular, got some amazing aurora views while relaxing in both. The neighborhood was great, with multiple stores like Bónus just a few minutes away. The owner was super friendly. Would definitely stay here again. "
