Convenient location, limited freeparking, well equipped kitchen, many eating options nearby. Building looks tired from the outside, but was fresh and modern inside.

Perfect little get away for 2.
Perfect self contained apartment with all facilities needed for a wonderful stay in Reykjavik. Bed was comfortable and shower was amazing. Close enough to the city without being in the thick of it. Would 100% highly recommend.

Great place. Close to everything with a cafe on the corner. Bus stop is close by. You're close enough to walk everywhere but still in a quiet neighborhood. Nice little kitchen and well stocked room. Highly recommend!

Perfectly situated in central Reykjavík with walking distance to all major attractions within 30 mins. Although we did not meet the staff other than the very professional cleaning staff they were always an email away and responded quickly. Studio we stayed in was all you need, modern, clean and functional.

Communication with the host was exceptional. Check in was very easy. The apartment was spotless. We were within easy walking distance to many of the city’s attractions and restaurants. We were lucky enough to find parking behind the building for our stay so we were thankful for that. We would highly recommend this property.

The perfect spot!
This apartment was absolutely perfect for my solo trip to Iceland. The location was nice because it was easy to walk everywhere, but it was a few blocks away from the busier area so it was super quiet at night. I had an economy studio, and it was the perfect size for me. The little kitchen had everything I needed. The shower was amazing. The bed was super comfortable. The apartment was spotless when I arrived. I highly recommend Frost Apartments!

Clean and freshly renovated. Nice setup with fridge, cooking area, etc. Everything you need. Common laundry area with lots of capacity. Close restaurant options and groceries are steps away. There is no front desk staff, but excellent communication by email, and a detailed property guide is provided. No complaints - recommended, and I'd love to stay there again!

Cozy stay
The room fit our needs. It was quite small but everything was compact and had what we needed. The laundry room was great and equipped with detergent. The bathroom was a bit tight In the sink area, but the shower was nice and roomy. The grocery store was just down the street within a walking distance. Parking wasn’t bad, most times we could park in front of the building. If you’re booking group tours, bus stop #12 is about an 8min walk. Everything else is farther away and will take longer if you’re not driving- overall a comfortable and quiet stay.

Our room had modern amenities, and everything was clean and looked as-new. There are 3 grocery stores within a 10 minute walk - we saved a bunch by using the kitchenette rather than eating out for every meal. Though the times we did eat out, the location was extremely friendly to our diet - there are two dedicated vegan restaurants within a few minutes on foot (the Loving Hut is a must!). Beginning a trek down the famous Laugavegur street was as simple as walking down two blocks, as well. All in all, Frost Apartments was a perfect fit for my wife and I.

The apartment is small, compared to American size. However, do not let this detract you. You are barely in the apartment, and have all the conveniences of making your space cozy. I needed the thermostat adjusted, quite warm, but the owner took care of it right away. The laundry option for us was huge! We had been in Denmark and then to Iceland. The clothes we needed were much different for Iceland.
The location is great.
Grocery store steps away.
Nice amenities. We rented a car and always had a parking spot in front of the building.
A . Thank you!

The property condition was great; it was very clean and well equipped. The bed was comfy with cozy duvets. A Bonus grocery store was 2 blocks away, so it was convenient to purchase food and keep in the fridge. The kitchenette had a 2 burner stovetop, a nespresso coffee maker, an electric tea kettle, a toaster, pots and pans, dishes & glasses for 4, and a fridge. The shower was nice with a rain shower head and a hand held shower head. Shampoo and body wash were nice products. Towels were fluffy. Self check-in and check-out were convenient & easy. The communication was superb. We received an email about the property with detailed instructions on how to use the appliances, Wi-Fi, accessing additional towels, communicating with property managers, and various other instructions. The property is within walking distance from downtown Reykjavík. We attended a performance at the Harpa performance hall one evening and had a nice walk back to the property, partially along the waterfront. It felt safe. We were there for 3 nights and 2 full days, so we primarily were at the property to sleep, shower, and eat breakfast. It was a great stay.

Close to perfect, according to me
Overall a wonderful stay for 6 nights at Frost Apartments, and would highly recommend it.
Easy to access, buses close by. A grocery store just across the street. No need for keycard, just remember your pin and you’re good to go.
Well equipped kitchen, with Nespresso coffee maker, kettle, toaster, 2 skillets, one pan, one colander. Microwave and oven in one, induction hob.
Big bed, but it’s a very hard bed. Some like it, some not. But the duvet and the pillows were fluffy and just perfect. Big tv on the wall, easily casting to it with your chosen device.
Nice and clean toilet and shower.
I personally didn’t hear a lot of my neighbours, but sadly it was one hotel guest dragging my experience down. It’s a nonsmoking facility, and it was not respected the 2 last days of my stay there. I smelled cigarette smoke from the ventilation. But that’s not the hotels fault!
Overall, close to perfect, and I would love to stay there at Frost Apartments again.
So if you want to cut down on food costs, this is the way to go. It’s easy to cook a meal or three, which enables you to spend your money elsewhere compared to restaurant food (:
Frost apartments had its upsides - it was nicely appointed, the linens, towels and bed were very nice and clearly some thought and care had gone into making the room lovely. The dishes were new and very pretty.
However, the term "room" is the sticking point. This was not an apartment. It was a *very* compact hotel room - you could barely walk beside the bed on either side - with some kitchenette amenities. Which is perfectly fine if it's made clear from the listing.
This wasn't the case here. It was called an apartment. The photos used angles of shooting and a wide angle lens that exaggerated the space. When we arrived, we were really taken aback at just how cramped the space was.
Had we been traveling for fun, it wouldn't have been a big deal. This trip was for work, we are documentary filmmakers and were traveling with three large cases of media gear in addition to our suitcases. Getting equipment ready for work, and then having to store everything made our lives difficult and our stay not very pleasant. We would never have chosen this property had the owner been transparent about the size and nature of the accommodation.
Honesty is the best policy, and the property owners should consider that idea seriously.

The place overall was nice and had good communication, it was a bit small and it at times was quite noisy, there was also a massive party outside in the early hours of the morning and the staff will not take any part in calling police or putting a stop to it for their guests. A local resident instead had contact the police to stop it. The problem is that most people staying there have no cellphone and contact the police in those types of events, so the staff should really help and assist at all times.

We were locked in the elevator had to call 911. Then the front door broke and no guests could get in or out. Then the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. When I called customer service to seek some compensation they attempted to tell me that it wasn’t their responsibility that the elevator in the hotel broke and the emergency call button wasn’t working.
