“The Yankee Peddler was everything I expected after reading past reviews. Perfectly located (walking distance to the Lobster Shack and the Newport Harbor, Int'l Tennis HOF, Audrain Car Museum...) with the free shuttle stop right at the bottom of the stairs. “We loved the Ocean room, which was spacious and had a large bathroom and a little, well appointed, kitchenette. It was very comfortable and clean. Everyone we met was lovely. They are dog friendly and that worked well for us! Breakfast was not lavish or hot, but adequate- yogurt, pastries , fruit and coffee. My one quibble- the Inn is in a residential area about a 20-25 minute walk from any restaurants or shopping. So you had to drive, uber or plan to walk for 45 min (rt) if going to dinner or……

“My friend and I loved our stay at the Chart House Inn! If you are looking for a sweet cozy traditional style BNB look no further! We especially loved the location as it is in the sweet spot of town where it's just far away from all the noise so it's not overwhelming, but close enough to the action near America's Cup & Thames St. If walking, it is about a 15 minute walk to the International Tennis Hall of Fame.
