“We had a wonderful time exploring the Baseball Hall of Fame. I would like to return and take advantage of other sites in Cooperstown and beautiful Otsego Lake. Our stay in StarField Cottage was terrific! Scott and Shoog (his dog) were welcoming and extremely friendly, and we appreciated the fact that our dog was also welcome. “Last year we loved this property and location so much that we booked it again for this year while my grandson played baseball at Cooperstown. It was a great place for the kids to unwind after their games. The kids enjoyed paddle boarding, fishing, and some hiking. The only recommendation that I would suggest is to list the fact that the property has no washer and dryer so that people would be prepared. We were prepared this year, but we struggled a little last year with minimal clothes.”

“My son was playing in the 12U Cooperstown Dreams Park tournament and I needed a place for me and my parents to stay that would let us get to him quickly and yet have a spot that was more than just a hotel room. I found this widnefuk small home and it was just about the best VRBO I’ve ever booked! The property was clean and beautiful and the check-in process was simple. Each of the three rooms had a beautiful comfortable bed and the kitchen had great appliances and plenty of working space……

“The cottage was the perfect size for our family. It was decorated so beautifully, and well stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed having our morning coffee on the porch and watching the bunnies run through the grass. The area was very quiet, but close to all Cooperstown has to offer. Location, 4.5 out of 5 15-20 minutes from Dreams Park during daylight, slower at night due to winding roads and the need to slow down for wild animals. “The cottage is definitely an old farm house, with some great updates. It was comfortable and quiet and relaxing to be there. I was there for a Baseball tournament at Dreams Park, so my trip wasn't exactly relaxing, but being at the cottage was. Also having the Sunflower Cafe across the street was key. ”
