“We were warned of remodeling but what we got was a freshly repainted and decorated room. The exterior might be a little rough, but the room was very comfortable. Had a slight issue with the new faucet but nothing that ruined our stay. Nice size fridge and the breakfast had lots of great choices ”

“My son and I wanted a hot shower and a comfortable bed for a weekend elk hunt and this place was perfect. We enjoyed watching the deer come across the field and feed and rut. Very nice and quiet location for a small group.”

“Very nice cabin. Was set up for snowmobileing with hooks and things down stairs. The view was great. The owner was very friendly also. Would stay there again”

“Communication from the time we made the reservation and throughout our stay was amazing. Corri and John were amazing at making sure we were happy with our stay. The check in process was easy and the property was always clean. The housekeepers were so friendly and did a great job day to day. Merlins Bunkhouse is small as they have listed BUT it was perfect for 2 best friends just getting away. The bathroom is right next to the room but you have a key. It really is easy peasy. The room did get hot……

“We were in New Castle for Rides & Reggae event. A really fun 2 day event. Our VRBO was great. Clean, charming, lots or character and a great location. Check in and check out was really easy. We’d happily stay there again.”

“Stayed at the Alpaca farm for two night with my girlfriend, just wanted a little trip to get away. Place was very clean, had everything you would want and need. Short drive into Glenwood to visit the springs if that’s on your list. Alpacas were great to hang out with and feed, while drinking some coffee. Beautiful mountain range in the distance. Definitely would recommend this place!”

“This was such a lovely stay. The home was very "homey", clean and adorably decorated. The alpacas were so fun. They have different personalities and really brought out the kid in my teen/young adult kids. It was so peaceful to enjoy my coffee each morning on the deck and go for a walk to say good morning to our sweet, furry friends. I would highly recommend!”
