“This house was just as advertised. A group of five of us stayed here for a wedding in Tecumseh. The house was very clean and comfortable. It was great to have a kitchen and large living space to share. The host was helpful and flexible with our party. Close enough to walk to downtown Tecumseh and enjoy the shops and restaurants. Highly recommend for a weekend stay.”

“Interesting old farmhouse with many rooms for spreading out. Kitchen has been updated and has a pleasant sitting room with a couch, two chairs and a small table. Beds are very comfortable! If you plan on doing lots of cooking, you may want to take your own pots and pans--not quite enough pots/skillets, and most need replacing.”

“Top priority, comfortable bed - check. Convenient location, just a couple minutes off Rt 23. Super accommodating desk clerk (Janette), who fixed our reservation for us - I swear we reserved a king bed, but we got two queens - anyway, she moved us. She also recommended several places to eat, and Inside the Five Brewery was excellent. Sylvania is a pretty town, we will stay here again.”

“First impressions were not very good when pulling in and parking there was garbage laying around steps and the front doors screen was ripped and hanging there along with a dirty ashtray sitting right beside it. This is an old house and the unit is upstairs with VERY LOW ceilings my son who is 6'5 was constantly ducking and banging his head on ceilings and just missing door frames. Both couches in living area are broken, uncomfortable and in need of replacement the tv stand is even broken but it……

“The home is older and could use work. The check-in email said there would be a box with the key so we wandered around looking for it- didn’t exist. Discovered front door was unlocked. Greeted by an extremely pungent egg/ sulphur smell. Note on counter said home is on well,but living with that smell was unpleasant. The home was dusty. Dead bugs and cobwebs on windowsill. Son found dead ants in his bed. Water damage and peeling on bathroom ceiling. Felt like you were in grandma’s house who is no……

“We stayed here for 4 nights attending a funeral. Don’t have enough good things to say. Rooms were very nice, clean and modern. We needed a handicap room. Our room didn’t have a seat in the shower (some rooms do) but the staff was so accommodating and installed a shower bench very quickly for my dad. We so appreciative of the staff being so accommodating whether it was to clean the room a little later, letting us know when our last minute package arrived and just being friendly. The breakfast……
