“The on-site staff were wonderful. But the room was not ready at check in time. It smelled like dogs. There was black mold on the bed. Super loud traffic noise all night. ”

“The grounds are beautiful and the facility was clean and well-kept. Staff members were pleasant. We would actually consider staying there in a different room but the white cabin with the thatched roof was awkward and uncomfortable to the point that we left after one night even though we knew we wouldn't get a refund. You can tell from the photos that some of the description is inaccurate (It's just one bedroom and doesn't have a private pool though there is one pool for all guests to share.) but……

“We staying in the hand-built rustic wood cabin in the middle of blackberries [Mora] in the woods. You need a 4 wheel drive to get down the very steep access road. We left our compact rental car at a house up at the road [for a modest fee] and walked down 2km. The cabin is down a steep forest path. Didn't see evidence of wifi. It's simple and wild. Will not suit everyone, but we greatly enjoyed it. ”

“A truly life changing experience at Villa Los Aires. The villa exceeded every expectation. It is beautiful, spacious, peaceful, and the views were unreal. My entire group was amazed the moment we arrived, and it felt like stepping into our own private world. The staff made this trip unforgettable. Esteban felt like family from day one. His warm energy and the way he went above and beyond meant everything to us. He even cleaned and folded our laundry, which we never expected and still talk about.……

“What an amazing piece of paradise! The property is stunning and the staff is very friendly and informative. I would say a 4x4 vehicle is required, especially in the rainy season. We saw tons of birds and enjoyed listening to the howler monkeys in the morning from the porch. I would definitely stay again and refer my friends!”

“We never received instructions on getting into the gate or building. We tried to call the owner and the computer said they were not taking calls. We ended up finding another place to stay. ”

“Sandra was a fantastic welcoming host. The accommodation was everything and more, simply breathtaking. So beautiful and well equipped with everything one would need. We were very sad to leave. Highly recommended!”

“Beautiful room with balcony overlooking a rushing river. Staff (Angie) was very friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfasts. ”

“El lugar está en óptimo estado. Limpio, ventilado, cómodo. El baño más grande de lo usual. Las habitaciones limpias y el AC funcionando al 100%. La ubicación es estratégica y muy cercana al Parque Marino Ballena y a Uvita. La verdad me encantó. Y el trato de Lidia, la señora encargada, de primera. Siempre atenta a cualquier consulta.”

“My wife & I enjoyed our stay at Rocka Verde Retreat so very much. The home in it self is an attraction. By far the most unique property we have ever stayed at. Who looks at four big boulders & says I think I'll build a house around them. ....& he made it work. Also loved the deck over the river, so peaceful. We were so secluded. Felt like we were the only two people in the world. Thanks a bunch Robert, wish we could of visited in person.”

“An absolutely amazing cabin in the mountains. I can’t even properly describe how beautiful the stay was. Our host was extremely helpful for our whole stay. Kitchen was great and has what you need, outdoor wood bbq was also great. It gets cold at night but there are lots of heaters and blankets. 10/10 on everything! ”
