“Howler Hideaway The Howler Hideaway was the perfect condo for our family of 4. The place was clean and super spacious and located perfectly in between downtown Quepos and the touristic part of town. The location was 5/10 minutes from any restaurant or tourist shops and about 10/15 minutes from any beach. The house manager Fabian provided outstanding service. We were able to be in touch with him before the trip to plan our excursions and he organized everything down to the pick up and drop off……

“We had a short trip to Costa Rica, but loved every minute in the house. It is a beautiful property with many different balocnies and decks. It has a lot of stairs, so keep that in mind when reserving. We had monkeys around the house every day and a raccoon that visited regularly. The scarlet macaws were amazing as well. The staff was fantastic! Cesar prepared amazing meals for breakfast and dinner. We loved everything he made. Overall, we cannot recommend this property enough!”

“A little work to get there - might need 4-wheel drive, but so worth it. After being in 2 different locations around Costa Rica, when we settled in here my wife commented that she could finally "vacation". This place is SO zen! The birds and gardens are everything that is advertised and MORE. The house and deck are beautiful with perfect views. So many birds will call you to come join them in the morning. “Awesome place, everything everyone says is true. Just beware as others have said, the road to the villa is straight up with sharp turns. Some tours will not come up to the villa.You have to meet them at the main road. Maria helped us with our first tour and my husband slipped walking down. Amazing villa and view!! Amazing country and people!!”

Trina and Jorge were amazing and even (for a small fee) picked up some groceries for us and had those for us upon arrival! “Overall our stay was very memorable. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. The views were amazing, the pool refreshing, and the house had all the comforts of home. The drive to the house is up hill and can be a challenge, but also was enjoyable. We saw monkeys early in the morning, and iguanas throughout the day.
