"For a three bedroom (sleeps six) cottage this is great value. It's generally in satisfactory condition. OK, the garden and cottage could do with sprucing up a bit but it's a good place to stay. There is plenty of car parking space around the back, and a large village (Kelsall) two miles away"

"Really enjoyed it, room was nice and breakfast was very good as well.
Had afternoon sandwiches at the Brassiere and then ate at the 1851 in the evening.
Wine cellar bar was very nice as well.
Will visit again. "
"Room was immaculate, the staff all very helpful and couldn't have done any more for us. We also attended an event there and the organisation was superb. "
"First time stayed here accidentally found to stay for a night after Indonesian Christmas party local to the hotel. I and my husband were amazed on how the big room is and the amenities for the price. I love it and we lock it to our favourite hotel lists to revisit next year. Thank you "
"From the minute you arrive with such lovely kind staff you feel your going to have a relaxing time. The hotel is spotless and your room has everything you need and more."
"A superb night away from home in a beautiful area. The Pheasant is immaculately maintained. The rooms are stylish and scrupulously clean. The restaurants, again, are beautifully decorated and the food is perfect. Staff are all friendly, polite and generally lovely. I can’t recommend this place too highly."
"I had a train to catch at 7:15, and the breakfast hadn't all been put out at 6:55. Got what i couldfor my journey. The woman that emerged from the kitchen was rather rude to me. Never mind."
