"Really enjoyed it, room was nice and breakfast was very good as well. Had afternoon sandwiches at the Brassiere and then ate at the 1851 in the evening. Wine cellar bar was very nice as well. Will visit again. "

"A superb night away from home in a beautiful area. The Pheasant is immaculately maintained. The rooms are stylish and scrupulously clean. The restaurants, again, are beautifully decorated and the food is perfect. Staff are all friendly, polite and generally lovely. I can’t recommend this place too highly."

"I had a train to catch at 7:15, and the breakfast hadn't all been put out at 6:55. Got what i couldfor my journey. The woman that emerged from the kitchen was rather rude to me. Never mind."
