「Sligo was such a quiet and charming place. We enjoyed our time there. We stayed in Riverside Hotel for 1 night, the very spacious room, nice staff and delicious food gave us very good impression. The room was just face the river, which had amazing view. After checking out for days, we met some unhappy misunderstanding with the hotel, but finally the hotel management dealt with it effectively.」

We felt right at home and the hostess, Kate was remarkable in how she went above and beyond in order to meet our needs. This is the true Ireland in an old, historic house in a quiet country area. A very memorable stay with a wonderful big breakfast. 」

「Gorgeous! The property is right on the ocean with beautiful Mountain View’s. Inside is impeccably decorated. It’s a five minute drive to an ocean cold plunge and sauna with a view of Benbulbin. The bed is comfy. As an American, the shower is 10/10 luxury, and downstairs the food is incredible. We will be back again! No notes!」

「There was a little confusion at check in about which rooms we had been assigned, but it was resolved quickly. The restaurant was not open for dinner on the night that we stayed at Clancy’s, but it was only a few km to find a place to eat. The rooms were very quiet and everything worked well. Breakfast was included and we requested to have it at 7:30. They were not able to accommodate that, but made it for 8:00 and it was excellent. 」

「We have stayed here before and received the usual warm welcome from the owner. The location is to the east of Carrick town, on a side road set back from the M4. The accommodation is quiet though. Bedrooms are cosy and homely.. A good breakfast in the dining room is ensured. Plenty of safe parking space.」

「The receptionist that checked me in and out was very friendly. She also upgraded me, which made my day. Mind you its my first time being upgraded. The room was lovely and spotless. That you!!」
