Edgewater Inn And Suites

10/10 Excellent

"The staff was amazing very helpful and kind. Check in was easy and the rooms are clean. I like that the floor is vinyl so if there’s water from the ocean or the pool tracked in your room you can clean the floor and not worry about wet spots and a broom in the closet for sand. The grab and go breakfast was nice simple grab and go stuff like oatmeal, fruits, bagels and muffins and to go cups for coffee, hot chocolate or tea but if you bring your own food the room had a mini fridge coffee machine and microwave. The hotel is walking distance from everything so it was perfect so didn’t need to use the car but incase you forgot something for your trip Walmart is only 7 minute drive away! I needed extra towels and toothpaste if the cleaning staff couldn’t get it to you the front desk people offered to bring it you can tell they care about their customers and I plan on keeping this hotel as a regular summer stay. And I recommend your stay here it a lot closer to the beach then I thought for a fair price."

SeaCrest OceanFront Hotel

"BEACH: Seacrest is an awesome place to stay. Not so close to the pier that you have the constant noise but close enough to walk along the beach to the pier. Walk includes watching seagulls carry clams high in the air and drop on the hard sand for a meal, to finding sand dollars (dead ones only) on the beach. Beach area is accessible via 95 steps right from the property and is away from most of the tourists. FOOD: Breakfast was awesome as well with fresh scrambled eggs, sausage and pancakes. Includes many other items as well as fresh baked cookies daily at 3pm. Plenty of parking and having Blast & Brew right on site makes the opportunity for a quick bite or full meal readily available. STAFF: Great staff, very friendly and ready to address any issues that may arise. (We had problem with the remote for TV and was corrected immediately). Clean and comfortable rooms that were cared for by attentive staff. Definitely going back"

Cottage Inn By The Sea

"We stayed at Cottage Inn while in Pismo Beach for a big classic car show. One disappointing thing was that there was only one parking spot per room and we had two cars with us. The desk staff was extremely nice and apologetic. They were able to offer suggestions on a neighborhood we could park a car in that was walking distance. It worked out okay but was nerve wracking. The room was nice lovely gas log fireplace. We had a puppy with us and there was a nice place with a great ocean view to walk her for morning and evening potty trips. One other complaint would be that it was very noisy. The rooms were not sound proofed at all. You could hear lots of noise from other rooms and from the parking lot. I will say that the location was good, the fire pit areas above the beach were lovely and the front desk staff were all wonderful."

"The property and views are beautiful and we really enjoyed the grounds and the beach. The big problem is the highway noise. It is very noticeable so there is no hearing the ocean. Even with the doors closed, they REALLY need to invest in insulated doors and good, properly installed weather stripping. Otherwise, great!"
