“Nice spot on the lake, close to the shore as well. Camp is located well in from the roads so no concerns with traffic while staying there with our dog. Great screened porch. Although we didn’t get an opportunity to use them as the weather was cool it was nice to have kayaks and PFDs available if you were so inclined. Easy drive to explore the coast from the cabin. Lovely walks/small hikes nearby. Also close to shopping and Shain’s which was great!”

“This our second year at Cape Guinevere, and once again we had a wonderful stay. The house is cozy and well equipped, and really just perfect for our family to gather for meals, walks around Lancelot Shores, and of course for fires around the fire pit. It is close to Rochester and stores but we felt like we had our own private getaway in the woods. We’d go back again in a heartbeat!”

“The cottage was very clean. We stayed here while visiting family in Durham so the location was convenient. The guest book had great instructions as well as places to visit. We took our grandson to the Seacoast Science Center and we all enjoyed it very much. We would definitely stay here again.”

“I truly enjoyed my stay here. The house is clean, bright and full of amenities (they even have a record player and lots of records). Check in and check out was simple. The whole setup is open and inviting. Even though there were neighbors on both sides, it was secluded enough for us to enjoy some rest and relaxation. We were able to see the lake from the front window, which was really nice. The owner was very kind and accommodating, and his responses to any questions I had were fast. Overall,……

“My niece and I were super excited before we even got there, and upon arrival were saying things like “Is this even real?!” As to say, I can believe we are staying here!! Loved the simple, yet elegant decor. We enjoyed the quiet sunset on the pond, while the fireflies danced on our arms. We ended the day relaxing to our favorite songs in the hot tub, and had a couple s’mores in the fire pit. The next morning, I brewed my coffee, and headed to the dock where I startled a couple of deer in the……

“My friends and I spent the night in the Canopy Tree House for my friends birthday. There were 3 of us- one from Canada, one from California, and one from England! We were looking for a place with a hot tub to relax and enjoy ourselves. This was the perfect place. So unique and fun. It looked as though much of the home was taken from the surrounding property. The hot tub was great. We enjoyed the bluetooth speakers built in into the hot tub. The water was a bit cloudy. The downstairs bedroom……

“Short family getaway. We truly enjoyed this cozy cottage on the lake that has everything you need to relax, unwind and disconnect. Beautiful views from sunrise to sunset. Highly recommend to those who want simplicity, peace and quiet, and simply disconnect from the busy world. Very responsive and helpful owner as well if you need to connect with him.”
