「Stayed overnight and had prepaid for breakfast. Went down when breakfast opened but there were many students staying and had formed a queue around the dining room. We didn't have time to wait as had to catch a particular ferry. Told receptionist when we checked out and was told "they paid too". Not impressed at customer service.」

「Our room was clean and had tea/ coffee making facilities. Toiletries were also provided. The view out our window was of the castle. Good location. Hotel requires some updating and there are a few stairs to the rooms. 」

「Caravan is lovely and comfortable, though can be noisy in stormy weather, though otherwise it's a quiet location. Drive is quite steep for parking. Fantastic views over Loch Long. Access drive is a single road, is quite steep in places and it can be tricky to find the caravan.」

「Lovely, clean and warm. Ideal location for the train and a walk to the beach. We enjoyed our time here and would definitely book again. 」

「Carpet has never been cleaned. Shower drainage blocked. The door key snapped when I tried to unlock. They wanted me to pay £90 for the key. The room smelled bad. It’s a guest house for people with no standards 」

「The Crinan hotel was lovely , the staff were amazing , could not have been more helpful. The food in the restaurant in my opinion was excellent, beautifully prepared and the portions were good . The location was stunning and would definitely stay there again .」
