"I wanted to give this motel a 5 because it really is a lovely place. It is clean and the patio view of the lake and bridge, as well as, the breakfast and staff were wonderful. The nightly fire pit and the fireworks show we saw from the bridge was spectacular. However, our bed didn't just creak it screamed if you made the slightest move in it :( and our shower drizzled water that was either very hot or cold. We were with another party that stayed in a different room and although they said the shower also didn't have much pressure, they didn't have the same problems. I would stay there again but not in that room or would check it first."

"If you are looking for a Hilton this is not the place for you. The property is a Victorian style Hotel that is very clean and inviting. Our room was very clean and was furnished with furniture that fit with the period of the Hotel. I would highly recommend this property as it is very convenient to every thing. The best part of our stay here was how clean and how well the property was maintained. If ypu are looking for a place.to stay on Mackinac Island look no further as this is an excellent choice."

"What a jewel! Recently refreshed earlier in 2026. Loved the well designed spaces dressed with timeless, opulent wallpaper & fabrics. We stayed several nites here in September and were absolutely delighted by the bright and meticulously manicured front lawn and back courtyard brimming of stunning flowers. Our room stepped out onto a long balcony lined with chairs to sit and enjoy the pathways of colorful floral beds. The double queen room, with fridge & safe, had a separated seating area comfy for relaxing & watching tv. The bathroom was spacious with a large shower stocked with L'Occitane products. The continental breakfast was one we looked forward to with croissants, meat, cheese, fruit, etc. Front staff were friendly and very accommodating. Such a fabulous property located just outside of the busiest section of downtown, so very walkable to all of the shops and restaurants. Bike rentals are also offered here. We cannot wait to come back to Mackinac Island and stay here again!"

"The staff were all very nice and the room was clean loved the walkout balcony to the beach, the property could use a couple maintenance updates here and there but it was very minimal and didnt effect the cleanliness of our stay so overall a great hotel if youre in the area ill definitely be back"
