「We went to check in around 5pm since check in was at 4. Luckily we were able to leave our kids with family while we went to check out the place and unload our luggage. We arrived and parked in the street like we were told and walked to the back around the whole yard on an unfinished path. 「This property worked out perfectly for our family group. We needed a home that could accommodate 14 people across 3 generations comfortably and this property definitely addressed our needs. 「A glorious setting on the water highlighted by varying tides, massive swans and a variety of boats gliding by. As serene and peaceful as it gets and only blocks away from a plethora of great restaurants, bagel shops, boutiques and more. The Northport Hotel (tremendous restaurant) offers rooms at 450 per night so the value of this home speaks volumes. A rarity in a very upscale market. Owner Richard is incredible affable and attentive.」

"As an experienced traveler, I have to rate this La Quinta a ONE out of Five. The facility is too old to use. To open the door, you need to insert the card key dozens of times. The hall way is not flat, slightly uphill or downhill. The drain of the tub is only half-working. When you take shower your feet are in the water. Basin is cracked and glued. AC sound wakes you up every time when it starts. Breakfast is ok, but lack of food after 8:50, it says that the time of breakfast is 6:30 to 9:30. Parking is free and safe, which is only thing make my thumb up. Overall, with $140 per night price, I must say, I was very disappointed by this hotel!!! By the way, the other La Quinta hotels I have lived in are very good."
