Superb architecture and history and magnificent rural setting, opportunities to experience nature. Superb welcome. Outstanding quality of breakfast, generous and food of highest standard.
Superb establishment with staff that goes out of the way for you to be comfortable.
Really nice converted property, really clean and tidy. Bed was a little uncomfortable but all in all, excellent stay.
Really simple well cooked breakfast with good quality ingredients.
These guys have put time and effort into the simple things executed very well!
Highly recommended!
Who ever cooks in the kitchen, everything seared and cooked to perfection.
Top quality fresh berries, they’ve spent money on the produce and il defo be back here!
An absolutely beautiful, immaculate venue full of countryside charm. The room was large, quirky and very comfortable and our stay was so quiet and undisturbed! Breakfast was absolutely delicious. We had arrived wanting dinner in the restaurant but only breakfast is available so we had a lovely summer’s evening walk through the fields via public footpaths to the local pub which had a large beer garden and served delicious food. Our host was charming but if we hadn’t needed advice re where to eat, the only person we would have seen was the lady serving breakfast and self check out felt a little odd without the personal touch of saying goodbye. In these days of remote working and increasing digitalisation, the human touch would have made this stay a perfect one.
What a great venue. We stayed for two nights in Otters Holt, a chalet overlooking the pond. The accommodation was very comfortable - however there was no wardrobe to hang out clothes - a minor inconvenience as everything else was perfect. Breakfast in the main house conservatory was first class, cooked freshly to order. Highly recommended.
Beautiful setting and very clean.
No staff on arrival but key and instructions.
Breakfast choice was fantastic in the conservatory.
Highly recommended.
Fabulous. I had booked a pod, but they let me have a room in the main house and what a room. Quaint, but well maintained and very large for just me. Would definitely recommend.
Lovely property in beautiful location. Wonderful spacious room.
Friendly staff, delicious breakfast.
But the shower & bath needs the water temperature control or mixer mending: it only produced very hot water, with no adjustment possible.
They also need to remove the wasps nest in the roof/chimney near the bathroom window, as it meant we couldn't open the window, so the bathroom was like a sauna.

. I stayed in the Brewhouse last night for a solo business trip. I arrived around 21:30, but clear instructions had been provided.
The room was a little cold, so I put the radiators on, though they created a loud noise throughout the night. The floorboards were also very creaky. The room amenities were good.
Unfortunately, while getting ready for bed, a rug on the wooden floor downstairs wasn’t secured and slipped from under me, causing me to fall and injure my back, hip, and buttock, on top of a pre-existing chronic pain condition. I had to take extra pain medication and attend a full day of work despite the injury. I’ve informed the hotel, and they have said they will secure the rug, but future guests should be aware of this hazard.
I didn’t sleep all night due to the pain and the radiator noise, and I didn’t have breakfast as I was in too much discomfort and wanted to leave.
I didn’t want to leave this review, but I hope it can help prevent future injuries.

The personalised note in the Entrance Hall was a lovely touch. This is a hidden gem for a short stay.
From booking to checkout, all was good. Staff are helpful, especially lady who looks after breakfast (sorry should have got your name).
Older building so floor boards creak but rooms and facilities are great.
