"Had to move rooms twice; first on the second floor was an issue with the window; cold room and traffic noise Second room issue with drains; smell horrendous Pool freezing; staff said it was over 22 degrees and monitored every 4 hours Pool table stained with spilt drinks and pool cues in a terrible state Breafast machinery all around the table not a nice relaxing area Breakfast area not"

"Hotel is centrally located near many bars and restaurants but inside is quiet. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was lovely with a mini kitchen area with microwave, fridge and kettle. Huge tv in the room. Comfortable beds and a nice bathroom. "

"Beautiful breakfast setting if you include breakfast in your stay. If you decide to just eat from the self-serve buffet it's not worth it. Breakfast is worthwhile if you also order food from the hot cooked menu so definitely try both options "

"Clean rooms.. breakfast was good. Unfortunately we were in the side where building works were taking place.. our view was of storage containers and we were woken at 7am by the workers "

"The dorms are super clean with gloriously crisp fresh linen, and an old-fashioned curtain to cut you off from the room also seem to be very clean. Our dorm was spacious which is nice with an ensuite bathroom between eight of us plus two additional sinks. It’s right in the heart of the knowledge quarter so very close to cafés bars et cetera parking available directly across the road in the Mount Pleasant car park , £6.50 a day."
