Cute & Serene
The Blue Jay was perfect for our weekend getaway. Driving through Main Street we saw deer and wild horses on the way to the property. This property is situated at the top of a hill of other properties, I liked that it was not in the middle of the cabins. The hot tub was perfect for unwinding. We would book here again in the future as we were very pleased with our stay & amenities.

Beautiful location
It was a perfect mountain getaway for us and our dog. We did a summer weekend retreat from the heat, but it is a great place any season. The hosts were very nice and easy going. Quiet with increidble views. Will stay again when in Ruidoso!!

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities
The cabin was small and cozy, but no clue how 6 people can fit comfortably. There’s no actual air conditioner in the cabin, it is just a window unit and the rooms have a small desk fan in the corner of the room. There was many bugs (alive and dead) in the cabin. The towels did end up having some bugs (small red critters) within the folds so I’m glad we took our beach towels. The property around the cabin isn’t the cleanest and there’s an extensive amount of trash next to the cabin we stayed in. The parking situation was good as we were able to park right in front of our cabin. I like that it was higher up and and had no noise disturbances nor nosey neighbors. The jacuzzi was warm and clean which is a big win.
