We arrived 5 o’clock. As you walked into the house everything looked wonderful we proceeded to get settledin. We moved around the kitchen and it had a strong fish smell. It was coming from the kitchen trash barrel. Husband took it out to back yard and washed it out. Dinner time we went to get dishes and utensils out and notice food left on them. We opened dishwasher to do a cycle of dishes and there was a fish smell and food on the bottom of dishwasher. As days came things got worse. The house was not rental ready by any means. The adult members of the family put in time and energy to make the house of living cleanliness. New pillows had to be delivered as well as new toaster. We washed outside shower which had weeds and dead leaves. As he started to clean a rat ran out of the debris. Had to hosed down deck and patio cushions. Doing s’mores and another rat ran up chimney
