「Beautiful townhome within a five minute walk to downtown Salida. Overlooks the Arkansas River and our mini schnauzer loved to sit out on the upper deck and people watch as folks strolled along the river trail. We’ve stayed here before and will definitely do so again!」

「This is a great historic location right in the center of town. It is in the third floor with no elevator, but we didn’t have an issue. The furniture has been updated since the original pics of the room were taken and there is now a chest of drawers available. The seating is wonky for two due to the baseboard heat. The bed was very comfortable and we had some of the best sleeping we’ve had as we travel. The parking is street parking so it’s something to be aware of if you are traveling in...

「This condo is absolutely perfect. It is well stocked with everything you need and plenty of space to spread out. The place is immaculately clean and well kept up. Bed was comfortable and there were plenty of places to sit: couch, reading chairs, recliner, etc. Fast internet connection as my husband and I were working remotely. Communication was responsive and clear. Access was super easy. The condo has a beautiful view of the river, is close to downtown historic Salida (.4 miles), grocery store...

「While this rental has a lot of charm, the two drawbacks were the 1.) super creaky floors and 2.) the thin walls. One guest was sleeping on the top floor and reported hearing the guest on the main floor flossing their teeth. Most guests slept with ear plugs. Additionally, the expectations for guests to clean up (start towels in laundry, state the dishwasher, take out the trash, etc.) PLUS the charged clean up fee gets old after awhile.
