“The Airport Inn is more like a B&B than a hotel. It's quite quaint and pleasant. The hospitality was excellent. We got in after midnight and needed to have milk available for a toddler and they made it happen. The buffet breakfast was quite nice for a complimentary breakfast. And the rooms were spacious and clean. Nothing fancy but it felt very comfortable.”

If you get to the North Deck and didn't see it, you've just passed it. Look to the right of the North Deck and proceed to the furthest gate to the right. It's a steep climb by vehicle to access. Not for the faint of heart, but well worth it! Spanish is an asset with the onsite attendant, however, the owner speaks English and is only a call away.”

“The property is in the heart of San Juan, but the gps location is not accurate. We were able to call the owner who gave us actual directions to the property. Once we got there, everything improved. “Pax Guest House is in a heritage building so it is important to know that some of the facilities are older. This did not impede our stay but it is something that visitors should be aware of before arriving. Both Gerard and Oda were wonderful hosts and made our time in Trinidad that much better. “The staff is kind, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. This is a small group of cabins on the side of a rainforestountain with natural pools and a 100 year old main house recently renovated. The food was delicious and healthy. But most of all, the staff was so generous when we were late for meal or needed help with the layout of the grounds. It's a place of magic and stillness. ”
