There is a bus from Haneda Airport to the hotel. The view from the window is refreshing. The bathroom in the room has no steps. The room is large so I had space to open my large suitcase. The bakery was delicious. There are many restaurants nearby, so it's convenient. This is my favorite hotel.

The Royal Pines in Urawa is conveniently located within walking distance of the Urawa train station, shopping mall and delectable restaurants. Staff went out of their way to help me get back to the airport or anywhere else i wanted to go. I recommend this hotel!!!!

Direct connection from Haneda to the hotel. The room was spacious and the bed was big. There was no step in the bathroom. There was a cleaning eco plan and I got a 500 yen ticket. The bakery in the hotel was delicious. There were restaurants, department stores and movie theaters near the hotel. However, there was a large construction going on right in front of the room and it was noisy during the day. It will probably be noisy for half a year.

The hotel kind of has the feeling of an 80s 4 star hotel. It's a bit classic looking but was built with a premium feel and amenities. I liked the atmosphere, and breakfast was good with an omelet chef, scrambled eggs, coffee and other good items available. The beds are very firm, and didn't really suit my tastes. I stayed on the 8th floor so it's possible that premium floors might have upgraded beds, but as for the standard room, a softer bed would have been preferred. The hotel gave 2 bottles of water per day which was excellent. I only saw in-room tea so if you want in-room coffee you may want to stock up at the combini.

Commendable to keep hotel refreshed despite being old. Breakfast was the highlight! Had to scald the bathroom floor due to bacteria smells. Thereafter all good. Parking should be included to room rates.

The staff were very welcoming. It was disappointing that our non smoking room wreaked of smoke. The bed was a hard flat mattress and we only got two small pillows. The AC was hit and miss. The size of the room was good and we appreciated having a tub in the bathroom.

Nice and Spacious!

The hotel was pretty outdated because you can see the carpets, bed riser, and doors to each rooms are dirty/stained. However, my room in general was clean and the space is way bigger than some hotels in the Tokyo city center (you are also paying about the same price). I enjoyed staying here during the time I tour around Saitama. Urawa Station is about 10-min walk away from the hotel so it’s very convenient. I will stay here again in the future if I will be in the area again.

Dissapointing services

We stayed at Executive twins as a family of four with 2 small children age 2 and 4. Although we had multiple luggages, noone assisted us with the luggage and service was really not to Japanese standard. It's more of business hotel. I thought the accommodation/facility was outdated and service was 2 stars for the price we paid (AU$289 inc. breakfast). Breakfast was good with variety of Western and Japanese choices though. I won't recommend this hotel unless you are staying purely for business or get excellent rate.

We enjoyed the staff was friendly and attentive. Breakfast quality and options were great, However, the verbiage on the booking site I used was mislead one to make you think there is the option between a smoking or non-smoking room. Our initial room was clearly a smoking allowed room within the entire smoking allowed floor. An additional charge for change to an official non-smoking room. Otherwise, convenient to transportation, and safe.
