Independent Saltsburg hotels

"The hotel smelled like fabuloso, as if it’s pure fabuloso. If you stayed in the main area long enough it would cause a headache. The elevator smelled like marijuana and there was drywall crumbs or something all over the floor. The elevator felt like it was going to break. The towels in the bathroom had stains on them. Busted outlet covers. Holes in the wall. Dirt on the bathroom walls. The front desk staff were very polite. Picked this property thinking it would be better than red roof… but I don’t know if there was much of a difference. No parking, had to make my own parking spot in the back of the hotel. The mulched area in front of the hotel was filled with trash. "

"Pool was closed due to renovations but that’s okay because we didn’t have time to utilize it anyway. Hotel was extremely clean and comfortable. Staff were more than accommodating…above and beyond for us in a few instances. Breakfast was great and there was access to water, tea, coffee and snacks throughout the day and night. It was a very nice surprise when I came back from being in the cold and wind all day to a hot cup of tea! Will definitely stay there again!!"

"Hotel was dirty, mold in the shower. Fire alarm was pulled at 2:00am. Trash around the property. Bad marijuana smell all the time. Long line at check in and owner of establishment didn’t even acknowledge guests or help with ridiculous long line. Never stay here again or even recommend to my most hated enemy. "

"The room has those stupid motion sensing thermostats so never gets the temp you set or stays there. Shower curtains are way to short and water gets all over floor. Cannot sit in the lobby and have a drink of your own. They claim to have a bar for coctails but bartender quit and they dont open it up. There wasnt a remote in the room."

"Hotel was great. No Shampoo in bathroom and very limited tv channels. To include no Disney channel even though it was on the menu. No much of an issue till you have grandkids you need to entertain. The shampoo isn’t a big deal either but when you have a big day and you forgot yours then it becomes a big deal. "
