“I got to the property very run down clutter all over the outside . Roof falling off out front . There was no one at the desk to check me in when I arrived around 11:30 pm . I walked out and never even stayed because there was nobody to check me in. Expedia needs to do a better job at monitoring the buildings they promote for people to stay in. A waste of money .”

“The problem here is that the place is so old and not kept up. The curtains were torn, entry doors were marked and scarred, the bathroom was dated and old. The sink was missing the stopper, there was a musty, dirty smell when you entered the lobby, and the pool looked like something out of a National Lampoon Vacation movie. There are only two motels in Ligonier so you have very little choice. I think you would be better served staying in Latrobe or selecting a bed and breakfast if you must stay……

“We only stayed 1 night. Grabbed a quick lunch at the restaurant and our meals were delicious and very reasonably priced. Looks like a nice place for families to stay. They had outdoor picnic areas, a pavilion with fireplace and a campfire area. We didn’t have time to walk around or use any of these amenities. They use security codes and not key cards which was great. Lodges were clean and the bed was very comfortable. Each lodge has their own kitchen area/common area. Help yourself to……

“Being on the golf course is perfect and the views are incredible , breakfast was nice too. My only complaint is that the blackout curtains do not close, so the flood lights from the front of the hotel shine through the sheer curtains all night. That’s a silly oversight.”

“The room was in need of a very good deep cleaning. There were spots on the wall and around the light fixtures that we could only hope were coffee or some other type of brown food. The baseboards were coated in dust and dirt. The sheets were a dingy yellowish color that I was reluctant to lay on, and the bedspread was extremely stiff and scratchy. This was definitely a disappointment given the reviews that we had read online for this location. We would never book there again nor recommend it to……

“The room was outdated, worn, felt dark. The bathroom was not clean, moldy. I had to have someone come clean it. They did respond quickly with someone to clean, but there was some mold discoloration even after cleaning. Phone was dirty. Breakfast looked ok, but I didn't try it. Went to Dunkin because I was not confident about cleanliness.”

We asked if they could make the change and the lady first said no, and it's not because they were full, just because they got the information that we wanted a smoking room, while never providing any proof that was the what happened.
