Beautiful Villa in the Wyndham Rio Mar Resort

  • The villa consists of 1 master bedroom, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, family room, dining room, balcony and gardens. There are 2 small sofa beds, sleeping one person in each, in case you would like to use them.

    It is equipped with air conditioning, cable TV and WiFi. You do not have to bring anything, only your bathing suits, because everything is provided in the villa such as towels, dinnerware, kitchen appliances such as microwave, stove, refrigerator, freezer, and utensils to cook your meals. Bathrooms include basic toiletries and have hot water. The villa includes one parking space and is close to the Golf Club House where you can walk and take the shuttle that brings you to the hotel. A golf cart can be provided to enjoy the stay.

Great location and pleasant setting

Located in beautiful setting adjacent to Yunque National Rainforest. Apartment is located in a unique resort setting, with an outstanding beach, and golf course. Quick drive to San Juan and the airport, you can enjoy great restaurants and nightlife, while laid back relaxation during the day. There are also plenty of nice restaurants near the apartment.

Beautiful 2b/2b higher end condo in very safe and well kept gated community on exclusive golf course with private beach access. That is everything on dad's list checked! Super close to El Yunque (a must visit in PR!). Better than the pictures depict!

Great rental/great location!

We chose this property specifically for its proximity to golf and El Yunque rainforest, both of which we enjoyed, although we were there during a two week deluge of rain and storms. Luis was a great host and communicator and made sure that there would a golf cart available for riding around the immense golf resort property. He also provided ample supplies to deal with potential power outages.

The property manager (Luis) made the check in/out easy and was receptive to our questions. The villa was roomy and met all of our needs. The beach was a short 3-4 minute drive in a resort area. The beach was beautiful without crowds. We felt such a warm welcome from Luis, we would consider staying there again.

The villa was beautiful—spacious rooms and a large living area made it feel very comfortable. The mezzanine was a great touch, offering some added privacy. I would have appreciated a larger kitchen, and it was a bit of a letdown that the golf cart was out of order (though the owner did apologize). Luis was fantastic—very responsive and helpful throughout the stay. I’ve already booked my next visit! Highly recommend.

We had a blast! Your place is/was perfect. Actually right next door to my two sisters. :) Thank you for an excellent rental, for the coffee, and the leche and other accommodations.Reservation through VRBO was seamless.The owner was awake at 3:30 a.m., when we arrived due to weather delays! Peaceful gem

Luis was a super responsive host and the villa itself was a gem. It's a great change from the glass and aluminum box style spaces with its thick stucco walls and red tiles roofs it has a Mediterranean vibe. The large, deep balcony was angled for privacy from neighboring units, looked out on greenery and even stayed mostly dry in the occasional tropic rain bursts. Lots of interior room to spread out, too. Great find!

Great location

We stayed at this location to be close to the hotel for a wedding. The grounds are beautiful, we were a little disappointed being the pool was down for renovations during our stay but my family stayed at the hotel so we were able to use that pool. Luis was a great host! We had a golf cart so we could easily go back and forth to the hotel. We would definitely return. It is much more spacious than the pictures appear. Thank you Luis!

Paradise!

A beautiful slice of Puerto Rico when staying at this property. It’s a perfect location, close to El Yunque, several beaches to snorkel, Old San Juan, basically anywhere you would want to go on PR. Luis is the consummate host & will answer any & all questions for you. I cannot say enough positive things about the property and Luis. All in all, it was a perfect vacation! Thank you again, Luis!!

Luis is great to work with. Met us at the property, showed around the villa, tons of room to spread out. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we were only able to spend one night at this booking. Luis took it upon himself to rebook us at another villa. He made what could have been a nightmare into a small inconvenience. Thank you again Luis!

Perfect for a long weekend

The villa was exactly as pictured and is located within the wyndham rio mar resort grounds. When we arrived, luis greeted us and showed us the ropes. We were provided with a golf cart to navigate the grounds, which was perfect. You are able to go to the hotel for the casino and restaurants. There is a seperate pool/club house for the residents of the villas. The ac worked, the villa was clean, thr loft/living room area is very spacious. This is PRIME location if you want to go to the rain forest, the natural water slides, or the kiosks. We had a wedding at the hotel. We look forward to coming back.

Easy Stay on the Wyndham Property

If you are coming for an event at the Wyndham - we were here for a wedding - and don't want to pay the high hotel prices, this is a good option. Cluster 1 is as close as you can get. The condo was way more space than we needed but we enjoyed spreading out and having a private porch to hang out on (no view but cozy). The condo is nothing fancy but a good base for excursions in Fajardo and Loquillo - and golf if that's your thing. The HOA revoked pool and beach club privileges for non-owners and that was a bummer but the beach was empty and lovely and very close. Luis met us when we came in close to midnight and was very responsive. The condo was very clean and the bed was comfortable.

End of december stay

The property was well located, very clean and incredibly spacious. Steps from the clubhouse. The host was kind and very responsive. Only things worth noting: -i specifically verified the golf cart was included in our stay. When we arrived and asked where it was, i was told it was being repaired and that one could be made available to us for $60/day cash paid up front. -we learned the amenities of the resort (pool) were not included with the villas. There was a seperate area for villa guests/owners. - everything closes at like 5:00. They gates are locked even if you are still sitting on the beach. Otherwise great stay.

Luis is an amazing host!

Luis amicably greeted us upon arrival. He showed us through our super clean villa and pointed out the amenities, including the golf cart for use and the laundry. He told us what pool to go to and where we could get breakfast. The villa was a bit dated in appearance but was immaculately clean. It is about .8 of a mile to the main beach area and the resort. It is very close proximity to many restaurants, kioskos, beaches and the famous National park rainforest, El Yunque. The location is about a 40 minute drive to San Juan. There is no charge for parking. A couple of miles to a grocery store. All of the amenities you’d need for a stay including towels, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron, stove, laundry, etc. The bed is small, I’d say a double size. There is a lovely covered porch area that overlooks the golf club and course. It was a wonderful vacation and a great price for the area we stayed in! We always felt safe and Luis was wonderful to update us on any happenings.
