“Very convenient walk to the Marina and Moran mansion/restaurant and spa. The view is lovely. The host provided very thoughtful luxury details to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable.”

“This place exudes peace and tranquility! It’s so quiet and beautiful, yet close to town and lots of hiking trails. We loved seeing sea otters and bald eagles frolic outside from the warmth of the living room.”

“This cottage is true to what it’s named…cozy. Nicole is a wonderful host and very quick to respond with any questions. Coming from the city, this mother-in-law suite was the perfect setting to unwind and relax. Thank you for a wonderful experience!”

“My spouse and I stayed here with our two kids, 2yr and 5mo, and it was great. There’s a walk in closet in the bedroom which fits the cot so we were able to have our 2yr old sleep in a bit of a separate space which felt cozy to her. Our 5mo old slept in the pack n play in the main space which also worked well. We were in walking distance to everything in town and the host was very communicative and approachable. We could park our car right in front of the private gate and the area was very quiet……

“This is an amazing cottage in a great neighborhood. Everything was very clean, extremely comfortable and wonderfully equipped. We walked down to the water to watch the sunsets and even saw a fox cross the road and six deer in the yard. We'll definitely be back.”

“We stayed at the cottage-in-the-Barn for a couple nights with two college age kids and dogs. We loved the quiet setting and found it to be a great base for exploring Eastsound and other parts of the island. The cottage was clean and light and charming. It was beautiful in late winter but with the gardens and greenhouse, it must be wonderful in spring and summer!”

“Charming Woods Lake Cottage was the perfect place for our first visit to the island. Very well equipped and convenient to town, hiking, orca watching. Yvonne is a gracious and welcoming host.”

“This rental was very nice with fantastic views of Sucia & Matia Islands. The house is large with lots of sleeping options. The kitchen was well stocked and the hot tub utilized after some good hiking days. The sunny but cool spring weather allowed us to lounge by the wood burning stove. Having a truck, I opted to back down the narrow driveway which I thought was easier to manage. Thanks for sharing your wonderful home.”

“Great last minute spring break trip. Nice to have the hot tub and fire pit under cover so there were rainy day activities. Beach access is really just for smal boats/kayaks. Nice local coffee was a cozy touch.”

“Our group of six (teen, YA, in-laws, husband and me) enjoyed our stay at the North Shore Retreat. It's centrally located for easy exploring of all parts of the island-- from Doe Bay and Obstruction Pass to Deer Harbor. We loved the garden setting. It was perfect for morning coffee and afternoon reading amid the fragrant flowers, buzzing bees and swooping hummingbirds. We really appreciated the well-stocked kitchen for making meals and the added touches, like the cooler, table cloth and plastic……

“Super sweet views of the water, islands, & sky. Very nice private beach, and peaceful setting. The kitchen is well equipped. Bed was comfortable, couch and chairs were comfortable. The code to the door didn’t work, and after trying it numerous times, we texted Vacasa and they responded with a different code for the lock box which got us in with a key. The light above the stove, under the microwave was burned out, so cooking was dimly lit. I’m sure they will replace the bulb tho. The coffee……

“This is a lovely place, well-designed and cared for, pleasantly decorated, full of amenities, and generally enjoyable to be in. It is larger in real life than I anticipated from the photos. The two apartments, which connect easily by an interior stair but can also be separated by closing a door at the top and/or a door at the bottom, were quite convenient for our family, which has two teenagers. The outdoor spaces, the garden in particular, are beautiful. The location is excellent, within……

“Overall, we had a great stay. The house is clean and in a great location — about halfway between Eastsound and Moran state park. We appreciated the fenced backyard for our dogs. Only negative was that there isn’t a ton of seating in the living room (one couch and a few papasan chairs that were low to the ground), which might be something to consider if you’re coming with more than 2 adults (kids probably wouldn’t mind the papasan chairs as much).”
