「The property is adorable, just like the pictures show. It is in the perfect area for seeing Cuchara, La Veta and San Isabel National Forest. The owner was more than willing to accommodate us with amenties and recommendations. 」

「Nice relaxing stay, beautiful home and surroundings. They supplied blankets and towels for our dog. Ate at Stofinos Italian restaurant in the La Veta in and a Aison restaurant called Lou’s. Both restaurants had wonderful food. Hosts were available for any questions and help. Enjoyed are stay.」

「We enjoyed our stay at this charming little house. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the decor is interesting. Check in and check out were easy. The house is close to Main St. and the mule deer in the yard every morning were entertaining. I would second what a previous reviewer said about wishing that the living room furniture was more comfortable, which did not encourage us to spend much time in this room.」

「Nine of us thoroughly enjoyed our 6 night stay! Space enough for quiet times and group times, indoors and outdoors on the large 2nd floor deck and individual decks. Windows everywhere had us feeling we shared the outdoors in privacy. Hearing birds and the Cuchara River through open windows was a joy. Every bedroom is nice; there isn’t a bedroom that isn’t great.
