"We had such a great Memorial Day weekend stay at Lake LBJ! The house was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed for a fun and relaxing getaway.One of the best parts of the property was definitely the pool! Since the river was flooded and the water wasn’t in the best condition during our stay, we were so thankful to have such an amazing pool to enjoy all weekend long. It truly saved the weekend for our group and gave everyone a place to relax, cool off, and still make great memories together.The host was wonderful, responsive, and made everything easy from start to finish. Even with the weather and river conditions being out of anyone’s control, we still had an absolute blast and made the best of the holiday weekend.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and comfortable Lake LBJ getaway!"

"The place needs to be remodeled. The place was dark and spooky feeling not many people for a weekend. The staff was rude, slow and careless to be helpful or not. Three times I came down to the gas and there was no one there had to call all sometimes and then the gentleman you finally show up."

"There was plenty of space to spread out here! We were slightly confused at first because the barn house was across the street & set back, meaning a lil walk away. This just made it too far for our aging parents to go over easily, but fine for the young folk. The host was quick to answer questions & we had to trouble shoot the Barndo AC on arrival, but by evening was cooled down. The huge dock was awesome & fun was had by all! A kayak or something water sports-wise would be nice to have, definitely need to rent or bring. Overall a great family lake spot!!"

"Our room was large, like a suite, very fresh & clean with nice bedside lighting features. Comfortable king bed. Only item that could be better is the startlingly loud power flush of the toilet. Pretty shocking the first time & disturbing at night. Very nice breakfast/ lounge area with extensive selections. Coffee could be better. Appreciated a map & guide for Brownwood in the room. Parking is plentiful with lobby entrances front & back. Pleasant staff at the desk & nice notes in the room from housekeeping. "
