「The house itself is lovely, the room was very comfortable, the beds were heavenly, and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were accommodating when we had some delays checking in and out. The shower was the only downside--it was very hard to get the water to turn on and the water pressure was weak.」

「Very welcoming staff, nice clean and spacious room, with beautiful sea view. Lots of choices for breakfast and a generous sausage for our dog. We would advise taking ear plugs because the village church, which is nearby, charms every 15 minutes through out the night!! Very quiet otherwise. 」

「Guter Startpunkt,um Loch Lomond zu erkunden. Hotel direkt am Pub und somit die einzige Essensmöglichkeit in der Nähe. Besser reservieren. Essen war sehr gut.Hotelzimmer sind groß,etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sauber. Donnerstags und Sonntags live Musik. Ideal für wanderungen und eine Bootsfahrt über das Loch.」

「We loved our stay at Thistle House. The house was beautifully maintained and furnished and even detail was thoughtfully taken care of. We had rooms with a lovely view over the loch and we were also served a delicious breakfast. We will definitely come back! 」

「A wonderful 2-night getaway birthday weekend! Everything was first rate: friendly staff, the warmest of welcomes, Great spa treatments, excellent pool, sauna and steam bath, clean and comfortable room, and excellent meals! 「I have rarely used exceptional to review a hotel but the Kames was. We travelled here from New Zealand on holiday and we only had one night but it was exceptional. The restaurant menu is top class, the range on the menu was great and seriously 10/10. I had locally free dived seared scallops from the loch, I had the slow roasted goat shank with lentils - exceptional, and we shared a lemon tart with fresh berries.
