「We loved our time at the Knotty Cabin. I stayed with my husband and family who were visiting from Ireland. We loved the location in the park with lots of great hiking and running trails right on our doorstep. The cabin was cosy and had everything we needed and more. The only thing we wish we had known before we got up to King’s Canyon was that the grocery store up there is very limited. 「This cabin was very clean with great amenities. We had concerns of being that close to Hwy 168 but we really didn’t hear any road noise at all. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware. The toaster over and hot plate worked well to compensate for there being no oven.」

「The cabin is even better in person than in the photos… it is the sweetest coziest little place! Very clean and organized. The host has everything stocked for basic cooking. There is a washer and dryer. A barbecue and a table and fire pit on the patio. One of the nicest Places I have stayed in Shaver Lake. She also had the place decorated for the holidays. She was very communicative as well. I highly recommend this cozy cabin. We look forward to our next stay ⛄️」

「Everything was perfect! We all love the place and what it offered. It was clean, up to date, well stocked with quality cookware, wonderful kitchen, beautiful baths, nice bedding, great floor plan, and plenty of wood for the fireplace... the owner was very nice and got back to us right away when the code for the house was sent blank by VRBO ( they were helpful too)and internet didn't work and he got us the right code right away. Really the best rental we've ever stayed in! We all give it 6 stars...

「Overall we loved the layout of the lodge, having a game room just off the lobby where the fireplace is, and a huge living space with executive table and chairs and a full kitchen. 「My family stayed here during our February break for the first time. We wanted to come play in the snow and also have a spacious home to relax in. This house fit the bill! We had cozy fires every night and played board games that we brought with us. We were close to the stores in Shaver and drove to the snow park area everyday (about 15 minutes away). We would definitely stay at this home again!」

「Nice place. Lots of windows which was great. Downstairs was cold. The tv remotes need to be replaced . Missing batteries and covers. The wood floors need a little tlc but overall it was a very nice and cozy place. Loved all the windows. It was a perfect view with all that snow.」

「We really love the location of this cabin. A short hike to the lake or 10 min walk to town but we did not hear any commotion from the main road. The layout is the perfect size for 4-6 adults. Cornhole and fire pit area are a nice addition to keep kids occupied. The small heater worked well but it was not too cold outside. Stove, microwave, everything you need. I just had to go get matches because the lighter was out of liquid. A potato peeler or pairing knife would would have been a plus but...

「Really nice place, what I really liked about this cabin is that they have everything you need, so you don’t have to carry extras, they have snow boards that my 8y/o enjoyed using them; the kitchen has everything you need to prepare your meals; bedrooms are spacious and beds really cozy, baths have shampoo, soap, lotion, towels. We were able to go for a nice long walk before the rain. We’ll go back again to this place in the future.」
