"Loved the included continental breakfast, cheese & wine, and free parking. Makes a change to get something included for free! Location was good, just a short walk to the centre. Nice garden chairs to sit on too."

"It’s ok. The Upham is a group of bungalows. My room was on the second story of the building at the edge of the property so there was lots of walking and steps. Some of the rooms were in garden settings. Mine overlooked the parking lot. Breakfast was tier three muffins and scones, no orange juice. There were mandarin oranges, which was nice. "

"We got stuck in a building a block behind the main hotel, but on the plus side it was clearly new, spacious, and immaculate. The pool is a joke compared to how the photos make it look, probably measures 30 x 20 feet. Four or five adults paddling around and it felt full. Nevertheless, we enjoyed a quick dip. Also cut it short due to blaring pop music all around the pool, for some reason management thinks we all need to listen to Rihanna and Justin Bieber at moderate high volume all day. Couldn’t really nap or read because of this unfortunate assumption. Not a resort, but a well-staffed, clean and very well located hotel. Recommended with just a few caveats. "
